I have recieved many questions about the Fallout Mod, so I will
try best to answer any questions you have.
Q: When will the mod be released
A: The questions begin already! It is way too far out from release to even try to guess a release date, so I will go with "when it's ready", and leave it there for now!
Q: What computer specs will you need to play Fallout?
A: Through its enhanced particle system, Fallout will be graphics intensive, aiming to make the most out of Command and Conquer 3's SAGE engine. Most computers
already running C&C3 shouldn't really have a problem, obviously the faster your computer/GPU, the better.
Q: Is this mod based off the Fallout series of games for PC?
A: No, this is pure coincidence, the game has nothing to do with the Fallout games.
Q: What ever happened to CNC Fallout for Generals?
A: Oh, the memories! Way back in 2003 (time flies, doesn't it!), the original Fallout for Generals, nearing completion, was completely lost when my hard drive fried. It taught me a very valuable lesson -
never neglect backup. Needless to say, I am paranoid now and back up on an external hard drive and flash drive every week! The upside is that the new Fallout will be bigger and better than Fallout for Generals ever was!
Q: Why is Australia in as a playable side?
A: As explained in the story, Australia heavily boulsters its military in the wake of the Australasian War. Please read the story for further information.
Q: How will the game play differ to that of Command and Conquer 3?
A: Fallout will contain a mixture of real life and fictional units. It will play marginally faster than C&C3, with easier base expansion to counter the numerous superweapons.
All three sides will have their own distinct style, units and counter measures, effectively eliminating the problem of "unit-spamming", a main complaint in C&C3.
